A HUMAN DIMENSION MODEL FOR THE URBAN VERTICAL HOUSING SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH INDOOR AIR QUALITY

In urban vertical housing in Jakarta, air conditioning (AC) is mainly used to create comfort units and spare residents from hazardous outdoor pollution. Residents housing, who have come the surrounding multi-ethnic area, live dense conditions. This situation inflicts conflicts of interest that affect indoor quality (IAQ). research develops a human dimension model for promoting using concept sustainability, which an environmental science approach. study aims conceptualize effect IAQ planning. The method partial least squares-self equation modelling (PLS-SEM) analysis. indicator variables related are room quality, sociocultural factors, open space relief, capacity, economic maintenance. result modified fourth pillar according Hawkes’ theory on variable cultural dimensions knowledge, perception, behaviour, participation, frame sustainable development concept: social dimension, dimension.
